Case of using SBA implant by OSSTEOBIONICS

Image
I am currently a 55-year-old male. My oral condition has worsened over the past four years.  She planned extraction of the entire maxilla and fixed prosthetics using implants. First, the tooth was extracted and a temporary denture was installed.  Looking at the healing pattern.  Loss of buccal alveolar bone is seen.  The inferior basilar bone is rather exostotic.  There appears to be sufficient bone mass available. OssteoBionics' SBA implant was placed and submerged. We were able to obtain sufficient initial fixation for fixed temporary prosthesis. To evaluate the bone response of the SBA implant, a two-stage surgery was performed.  Autogenous bone, xenogeneic bone, and synthetic bone were transplanted into the surrounding defect area. This is what it looks like after the second surgery. The bone response is very good, a ll bone graft materials used were well maintained around the implant. This is what it looks like after the final prosthetics. I am a little dissatisfied with the s

Case with periodontal problems

Image
This is a case where a tooth was extracted due to periodontal problems. The surgery was performed a month after the tooth extraction, but the bone quality seemed to be insufficient. It looks like my lateral incisors will fall out soon.

Lower anterior teeth implantation

Image
This is a 64-year-old female patient. The condition of the lower anterior teeth is poor. First, the tooth was extracted and waited for about 3 months. CT findings before and after tooth extraction. Bone grafting was performed simultaneously on the buccal side using allogeneic bone, xenogeneic bone, and absorbable membrane. This is a postoperative radiograph. This is an intraoral photo about 1 year after surgery.

STA fixture review

STA is a fixture with a diameter of 4.5 mm and a length of 8.5 mm.  It goes in smoothly and the final initial fixation is good with a nice sticking.
