Bottom jaw implantation case

Image
This is a 68-year-old male patient. I came to the hospital because it was discovered in the lower anterior teeth. This is a CT finding. Bone defects are visible in the area where implantation is intended. This is a photo while drinking. SBA 4.0 was installed. Dehiscence defect is visible. We performed bone grafting using a xenograft mix and Xenoguide, an absorbable membrane. This is a postoperative radiograph.  Bone healing 503 was inserted and GBR was performed. 3 months after surgery. This is a photo and a photo after the final prosthesis. Because the initial fixation was not very good, immediate loading was not performed. The final prosthetics was done 4 months ago.

It was placed in the #43 extraction site using the SBA fixture.

Case with using a SBA fixture

Image
Single anterior teeth are difficult. As time passes, I hope that the gingiva will change more naturally. It looks like color correction is also needed. Here was used a SBA fixture. The labial bone wall remaining in a concave shape is strong, and the graft material was used with the expectation that it would only protect against absorption of the existing exposed bone wall. However, I think it would have been better if an absorbent membrane had been used.

Maxillary sinus lateral approach elevation case

Image
This is a basic maxillary sinus lateral approach elevation and bone grafting case.  The lining of the maxillary sinus is clean. The maxillary sinus membrane and interior are carefully removed and then filled with graft material. Cover the bone piece that was removed on top of it. Cover the absorbent membrane and finish suturing. As the bone fragments are removed, they become smaller. I used an absorbent membrane just in case it would help.
