Implantation failure and maxillary sinus case
Case from 2006 here is a patient who visited due to implant failure and maxillary sinus in the upper right posterior tooth.This is a 61-year-old male patient.

For long-standing chronic maxillary sinusitis, silastic was used for irrigation and draining.
This is what it looks like after about 4 months of healing.This is a photo from December 2006.
Bone grafting within the maxillary sinus again through the window approach, and block bone was collected from the mandible and fixed in the alveolar crest area.
However, 3 weeks after surgery, the surgical site became infected again, so draining was performed again.The implant was placed about 6 months later.
Secondary surgery and prosthetics were performed like this in early 2008.
This photo was taken in 2009, about a year after prosthetics.

These are photos from 2021 and 2023. Likewise, cases where the infection has progressed once seem to remain well for a long time if treated early.
