Implantation using non-absorbable membrane
This is a case of 35-year-old male patient. This is surgery in a area #12 in 2009. GBR using a non-absorbable membrane was performed with large fenestration.
This is a photo after the prosthetics were completed.
Afterwards, in 2022, I visited the hospital due to trauma like this. Tooth in a area #22 is too small and cannot be seen.
This is a radiological finding. First, GBR was performed using an absorbable membrane.
I sutured it, but the condition of the soft tissue is not good, so healing is not visible.
Looks like it's healing.
I still have to wait and see.I am worried that the patient is not cleaning the wound well. When exposing a relatively extensive implant like this, I think a non-absorbable membrane would be advantageous if possible.
