Case of maxilla implantation

An implant is scheduled to be placed in the 17th area of the maxilla.


The amount of remaining alveolar bone, especially the buccal alveolar bone, appears small. 


First, tooth extraction and preservation surgery were performed at the same time as number 17 was extracted.


It looks like tooth extraction and preservation surgery are being performed at the same time.

The implant was placed about 5 months later.

When placing the implant, an additional cresatal approach was used and additional bone grafting was performed.
