A case with periodic swelling and pain in the molar region.

She is a 58-year-old female patient

There is periodic swelling and pain in the maxillary left molar region.

Radiographically, a cystic lesion is observed around tooth #29.

This is the CT finding. The ENT specialist explained the removal of the cyst under general anesthesia.

The patient, who dislikes general anesthesia, visited our hospital. Tooth #27 was found to be vital.

Considering the discomfort due to the location, it has been decided to extract tooth #28 while removing the cyst under local anesthesia.

It has been decided to proceed with the removal using a window approach for now.

The removal proved to be challenging

This is post-surgery.
